You Are What You Eat !?!

It has been commonly said that u are what you eat. If this is the case then people who eat pork are an abomination to the Lord.

The debate about homosexuality in America, is comical to me for a number of reasons. Mostly because most Christians' that are against Gay marriage are obviously unaware that the book of Leviticus as was recited to Moses forbade a man to lay with a man only 4 or 5 pages (depending on how big the pages/font is) away from where it is written that if a man even touches the carcass of a pig let alone eat it is an abomination to the Lord.

Now, many people try to say that in the New Testament and under the New Covenant we can eat anything we want. Is that so? God spoke to Moses (Leviticus 11:1-2)and told Moses point blank, in plain speech "to make A difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten."  (Leviticus 11:47). Jesus (that's right Jesus not the Father)spoke to Moses, and even went as far as equating what we eat into determining weather or not we are holy; what we eat is also one of the ways the people of God sanctify themselves.
"For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy..." (Leviticus 11:44).
These are the words of Jesus Christ, not the Father.

"And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape"(John 5:37).

LET IT BE KNOWN: JESUS IS THE GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT AND; THEREFORE IS THE ONLY GOD MAN HAS EVER KNOWN!!

As a child, Acts chapter 10 was the scripture I was given as to why it is ok for Christan's to eat the pig. Lets analyze this chapter and see if this is in fact the case.

The chapter opens with Cornelius, an Italian centurion.
Let it be known that Cornelius is the 1st Gentile to be admitted to the church. But before that the angel spoke to him:
"He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius... send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:  He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do" (Acts 10:3-6).
Note: the angel of God could have very well told  Cornelius what to do himself. But Cornelius was an Italian (a stranger to Israel) so therefore the angel told him to find Peter (Israelite) because Israel was chosen to teach the children of Adam the ways of the True and Living God; The God of Israel.

Now after this Gentile sees an angel and is told to send for Peter; God is setting Peter up for this meeting as well;

"On the morrow... Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate" (v.9-17).

Now before we get into the commentary of the vision first I must point out a few things that most just read past. This story in Acts 10 is happening approx. 10 years after the death, ressuerection, and ascension of Jesus. Peter was a disciple, was aware of what hapened in Matthew chapter 15 when Jesus said, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man" (v.11). We no also that  Jesus revealed all things concerning Himself and His ministry to His disciples.(Mark 4:34/Luke 24:27)

Yet despite all of the opportunity given in a 13yr span for Jesus to inform Peter about pork or any other unclean animal when the voice told Peter to kill and eat Peter responds, ' I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.' It was also stated that Peter was 'very hungry.'

In verse 17 when the dream is over Peter is still doubting what the vision should mean because he knew it couldn't mean that God cleansed everything to be eaten. In verse 19 Peter is still thinking about what the OBVIOUS METAPHOR really means, and the  Spirit suddenly speaks to him and tells Peter to go doubting nothing. The men sent by Cornelius were probably Italian just as Cornelius himself was from Italy.  Under normal circumstances this Italian would have been a pagan. But for whatever reasons, ( feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway) God wanted to make it acceptable for the Israelite's (Jews) to associate and thereby sharing the gospel with the rest of the world.  At some point between Peter coming down off the rooftop and actually meeting Cornelius and his family and kinsmen, Peter figured out exactly what the vision meant.
"And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean" (v.28).

He explained to them how under normal circumstances the Jews would not come into the home of a stranger, but God showed him in a vision that he should not call any Man (not food or beasts) common or unclean.

FOOD 4 THOUGHT (you do the dishes): Why would the Lord use every beast of the earth to show that we should not call any person unclean?

Both man and beast was created on the 6th day out of the Earth. In the prophecies of Daniel the four great kingdom's of the latter days were depicted as beasts. Solomon also wrote that man has no preemminence over a beast. We breathe with the same breath of God in our nostrils, and when we die we go back to the dust (even fish)!

Lastly;
"For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD" (Isaiah 66:15-17).

This has not happened yet. This is a prophecy that will come to pass, in the future. So who is this Lord that will consume those whom eat swine's flesh? Isaiah said he will come with fire; The Apostle Paul wrote about Jesus coming and doing these same things.

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2Thessalonians 7-9).

It is Jesus that will come with flaming fire, and consume people that eat the flesh of swine's (pig)!

Sisters and Brothers it is not ok to bless a piece of pork in the name of Jesus and then eat it. You cannot bless abominations...THIS IS THE LAW OF GOD.!

And we all know: "the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be" (ROMANS 8:7)

May The Lord add a Blessing to the Reading of His Word, In Jesus Name...

THE RAPTURE???!???

3 OF 3

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

The rapture is thought to be the plan of God for the people of God during the Great Tribulation. People would have you to believe that The Most High God needs to steal people off the earth in order to protect them during this time of trouble. This however, is not biblical. The Bible speaks of the Kingdom of God and all things pertaining to the Kingdom of God being on the Earth.

Why?

The Lord (Jesus) did not create the earth in vain, it was created to be inhabited (Isaiah 45:18).

FOOD 4 THOUGHT (you do the dishes): God created the Earth for man to live here. That’s probably why man was created out the Earth (dust of the ground); (Genesis 2:4-7).

The Earth is roughly 70% water; the body (made out of the earth) is about 70% water (muscles are made up of close to 75% water).

Everything we eat wheather meat or vegetation comes from the Earth.

Many of the minerals found in the earth can also be found in the body, or are needed by the body in order to sustain life; Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Salt, Magnesium, Copper, Nickel, Sulfur etc.

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them” (Deuteronomy 4:30-31).

The saints of the Most High God WILL go through the Great Tribulation and the above scripture is how to survive it. The Lord (Jesus and/or The Father) will NOT steal you off to heaven before, during, or after The Great Tribulation!

“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger” (Zephaniah 1:14-18/2:1-3).

The prophet of God speaks of being hid…

But if were not going to heaven where will we hide?

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her… And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi (husband); and shalt call me no more Baali (Lord)… And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. And I will betroth thee unto me forever… in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies… and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God” (Hosea 2:14-23).

AND AGAIN…

“As I live, saith the Lord GOD… I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant (Ezekiel 20:33-38).

Many people recite the 91st Pslam not realizing that it is speaking of the place in which the saints will hide (the wilderness) during the Great Tribulation.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty… He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked… For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone” (psalm 91:1-16).

Jesus created Heaven and Earth. He will rule on this Earth at the time appointed. Everything that he created on the earth, including man, will be here when He returns.

Remember, the Lord will do nothing except he reveal his secrets to his servants the prophets. The prophets didn't speak of Rapture, and there won't be one.

May The Lord add a blessing to the study of His Word.

THE RAPTURE??!??

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

The rapture is thought to be the plan of God for the people of God during the Great Tribulation. People would have you to believe that The Most High God needs to steal people off the earth in order to protect them during this time of trouble. This however, is not biblical. The rapture is supposed to be to prevent the ‘saints’ from having to live thru the Great Tribulation. This also, is not biblical.

Probably the most common rapture scripture that is used is as follows:

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall DESCEND from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to MEET the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17).

Now let us reason together: v.16 the Lord will DESCEND FROM HEAVEN. As we learned in part 1 by the time the Lord (Son of Man) comes in the clouds of heaven (descends) the Great Tribulation has already run its course. In v. 17 we whom are alive will meet the dead in Christ in the clouds. Sisters and Brothers the clouds are still within the Earth's atmosphere.

They are so close that you can fly in an airplane above the clouds! So at this point we haven’t made it to heaven where Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father yet. The question that the Thessalonians should have asked Paul is, ‘after we meet the Lord in the clouds, where do we go from there?’ To be honest; they probably did not ask the question because the early Christians had more of a knowledge and understanding of the scriptures (Genesis – Malachi) then modern day Christians. They knew and understood that the prophet Zechariah had already wrote what would happen next.

"Behold, the day of the LORD cometh… And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley… and the LORD my God shall come, AND ALL THE SAINTS WITH THEE (Zechariah 14:1-5).

In case you haven’t noticed by now, The Lord (Jesus) is planning an invasion of the Earth. This is why before he actually touches the earths’ surface he will gather all his troops (saints), then he will proceed to the Mount of Olives (just east of Jerusalem).

FOOD 4 THOUGHT (you do the dishes): The first place that Jesus feet will touch when he returns is the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14:1-5. The Last place that Jesus feet touched when he ascended into heaven in the sight of the Disciples was...  you guessed it The Mount of Olives Acts 1:9-12.

LET IT BE KNOWN: Jesus is interested in the Earth because He swore to David. "The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it… For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it” (Psalm 132:11-18).

May the Lord add a Blessing to the reading of His word.

THE RAPTURE?!?

1 OF 3

I have always thought it amazing how as Bible believing Christians we can be persuaded into believing in a doctrine, when the name given to the doctrine cannot be found in the Bible. One of these so called doctrines is the rapture. People have written books, movies, documentaries and have gained million$ in profits as a result of an unbiblical doctrine. Since the word is not in the Bible we cannot use the Bible to define it. Therefore we look to secular wisdom:

rap•ture (r p ch r)  n.

1. The state of being transported by a lofty emotion; ecstasy.

2. An expression of ecstatic feeling. Often used in the plural.

3. The transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/rapture

The rapture is thought to be the plan of God for the people of God during the Great Tribulation. People would have you to believe that The Most High God needs to steal people off the earth in order to protect them during this time of trouble. This is not biblical. Moses and Jesus went into hiding in Egypt; In Moses day the Egyptians were killing all Israelite male-children, and Moses hid in Pharaoh’s house! The man who was to lead Israel to the promise land was hid in the most un-safe place for an Israelite boy. In the days of Jesus, Herod (a king set up by the Romans) was also killing Israelite boys. Being that Herod believed that Jesus threatened himself and the Romans, being labeled as “The King Of The Jews,” (Micah 5:2 Matthew 2:2-6/27:37 John 18:33-37) and the fact that Egypt was at that time a Roman province, this would seem to be not the best place to hide.
Fortunately Jesus was the same skin color as the Egyptians

so that He, Mary, and Joseph could easily blend in with the natives.

One of the common scriptures used to rapture people to heaven is: "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this that if the Goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh" (ST. MATTHEW 24:40-44).

Unfortunately (for them) there is no mention of going to heaven in this whole chapter. Secondly the rapture is supposed to be to prevent the ‘saints’ from having to live thru the Great Tribulation. This also, is false teaching because the Great Tribulation starts in verse 15-21 “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house… For THEN shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

By verse 29 the Great Tribulation is coming to a close: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken… and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:29-31).

182 pre-trib lies exposed: An answer to "Maranatha or refried Rosenthal?" by Herb Evans and "Rasmussen's fables" by Charles Perkins

The rapture scripture doesn’t happen until verse 40. So according to the Bible (not the sermon) if there is a rapture it won’t happen until AFTER the Great Tribulation.

St. John 3:13 No one is going to heaven

St. John 7: 33-34 Where Jesus is (Heaven) you CANNOT go

St. John 14:1-3 When you see Jesus it will be when he comes again “I will come again”

Revelation 21:1-2 & 10 Even when we meet the Father in ‘New Jerusalem’ it will come DOWN from God, OUT OF HEAVEN!

May the Lord add a blessing to the study of His Word.
