Religious use of pot seen as legal refuge

Back in 2003 the BBC network ran an article about cannabis being linked to biblical healing.

It has been claimed that Jesus and the apostles may have used a cannabis-based anointing oil to help cure people with crippling diseases.

Sula Benet (1903 – 1982), also known as Sara Benetowa, was a Polish anthropologist of the 20th century who studied Judaic customs and traditions. Her studies  have gained notability because of her translations in the book of Exodus (30:22-33)concerning of the herb known as kaneh-bosm or kneh-bosm and how it relates to the religious use of  canibus. Kaneh-bosem is mentioned in the Old Testament as part of the holy anointing oil used in the temple.  Through the analysis of ancient texts (including pre-Hebrew Semitic language), and the pharmacological consistencies, she contends that the word kaneh-bosm actually refers to cannabis and was used to make medicine and for the ritual sacrament of Israel.

Benet's work is yet another example of the plants long and culturally important history. And should serve as a reminder that the criminalization and demonization of cannabis is a recent invention (1937).

Researchers in the United States say concur that the oil used in the early days of the Christian church contained high levels of the cannabis extract. The team of US researches suggested that the extract, which is absorbed into the body when placed on the skin, could have helped cure people with a variety of mental and physical problems.
The medical use of cannabis during that time is also supposedly supported by archaeological records.

The holy anointing oil, as described in the original Hebrew version of the recipe in Exodus, contained over six pounds of keneh-bosum - a substance identified by respected etymology, linguists anthropologists, botanists and other researchers as cannabis extracted into about six quarts of olive oil along with a variety of other fragrant herbs.
The ancient annointed ones were literally drenched in this potent mixture.

"Interestingly, cannabis has been shown to be effective in the treatment of not only epilepsy but many of the other ailments that Jesus and the disciples healed people of such as skin diseases, eye problems and menstrual problems," said the author of the article, Chris Bennett.

One church in Denver, CO agrees with Mr. Bennett's findings as reported by the Denver Post last Sunday.

In the photo above this woman Janet is anointed with holy oil by the Rev. Roger Christie after joining the Hawaii Cannabis Ministry at the Oriental Theater.

"If there's anybody here who's a member of law enforcement, you don't have to identify yourself, just please leave," the Rev. Timothy Tipton told a crowd at Denver's Oriental Theater. "This is a private event."

The Oriental Theater was actually one of many private events on the "Cannabis Church Revival Tour."  The Cannabis Church Revival tour is, a three-event swing promoting the religious use of marijuana and its potential as a legal defense against pot prosecution. The Revival tour was organized by Rev. Roger Christie, founder of The Hawaii Cannabis Ministry, and was organized as a way to spread awareness about his church and its affiliates.

Christie touted religious use of cannabis as a legal refuge for marijuana users of all stripes protected by the First Amendment — as long as they are sincere.
"You can still have cannabis, but you don't have to be sick," he said. "Or if you are sick, you don't have to go to the doctor. A lot of people go to the doctor for legal protection. We provide another source of legal protection."
However, the problem is, the courts have not interpreted the laws in the same way.
State courts in Hawaii, Alaska and Arizona, as well as at least one federal appellate court, have rejected freedom-of-religion defenses in marijuana cases. In addition recently in Clear Creek County, a judge convicted a man in a marijuana possession case after deciding his religious beliefs weren't sufficient to exempt him from state law.
Christie said however, that the church has had 108 legal victories across the country, but that number includes only cases where charges were dropped or not filed and none were jury victories.Christie is pursuing a federal lawsuit in Hawaii that could set a precedent for protecting spiritual use of marijuana.

Membership guidelines under Christie include signing a document attesting to your sincerity as well as washing your hands with hemp soap before entering the sanctuary.

Kathleen Chippi, a  dispensary owner who is starting a cannabis ministry, said that new church members will be asked to take a cannabis theology class. "If you want to use cannabis as sacrament and use that as a defense, you need to know what you're talking about," said,Chippi.

The Bible never says that smoking is a sin. Weather it is called cannabis or tobacco. Sin IS the transgression of the law. And nowhere in the law of God does it say "thou shalt not smoke."

We all know the legal ramifications for possession of cannabis, however, here at StudyTheBibleNotTheSermon it is my job to remind you of spiritual ramifications as well as free your conscious if there are none! And there are none! (spiritually speaking of course)

May the Lord add a blessing to the study of His Word...

KJV has many good uses. It is the word of God  translated by men who were scholars and professional translators. These men where not necessarily religious men, which is good in the sense that the focus was therefore on translation, not doctrine, or some other religious agenda in trying to 'make the scriptures say what they thought it was trying to say.'
These men also translated the scripture so that it flows like poetry. This poetical style is best illustrated in the books: Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastics, Song of Solomon and Lamentations.

Once a person becomes familiar to the Old English words, classical literature becomes easier to read and to understand. For someone like myself born and raised in the inner city of Chicago, the references, parables, and metaphors that hint to farm culture helps to broaden my horizons and appreciation about a time when most work was done in the fields. A broader vocabulary also results from reading the Bible in general and the KJV in particular, because some words that were used in everyday speech in the 1600's are still words in our modern dictionary, however, for one reason or another the word isn't used as commonly or the meaning has changed slightly. It may have become more of a professional word, or a word of trade for artisans.

I encourage you to click here and see the testimony of the man whose reading level went from 6th grade to 12th grade, just from reading the King James Version of the Bible.

WHAT IS THE CHURCH (authorized version)

What is the church?
Most people think about the place you go on funeral day, wedding day, and Sunday morning's.

Some of us whom are more informed in the word of God understand that the church is the people.
Therefore you can attend church service in the basement of Wal-mart because "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:18-20).

This line of thinking is at least half right. I have heard preachers make the claim that, the church took over from the nation of Israel to carry and teach the word of God. Those who feel this way point to the 2nd chapter of Acts, when the Holy Spirit was given on the day of Pentecost.

"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language."

Everyone who was present when the Holy Spirit was given were Israelites. Israelite men from out of every nation under heaven.
How quickly we forget Jesus instructions to the disciples not to go into the way of the Gentiles. Even when He later told them to go into all nations and baptize, nobody wanted to do it!

Even after Jesus humbled Paul and chose him to be the Apostle to the Gentiles, he did not go right away and start preaching. He also tried to only preach to Israel
"And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles"(Acts 13:1-46).

In fact, it was the apostle Peter who preached Christ first to the Gentiles. And that happened 10 years after Jesus ascended to heaven and after the Lord gave him a vision and the Spirit helped push him.

"And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, And said... Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter... Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him... he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord" (Acts 10: 1-48).

"...This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us..." (Acts 7:31-39).

Israel IS the church. It is not possible to read the Bible and circumvent Israel. Everythng was given to Israel. The law of God, the grace of God, the promises of God, even the 'Anointed One' of God came thru the children of Israel.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans, the city that ruled the world at the time. Although it would be thru the ministry at Rome that Christianity would become worldwide, the Lord caused Paul to write to the puffed up church at Rome that Israel is: "...my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen". (Romans 9:1-5)

FOOD 4 THOUGHT (you do the dishes): If the Gentiles took over the church in Chapter 2 why were they, that came with Peter 'Astonished' that on these Gentiles was the Holy Ghost also poured out?

May the Lord add a Blessing to the reading of His Word...

Proposed currency of the world government.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has recently called for a new global currency. This 'world wide currency' would replace the dollar as the World’s Reserve Currency.

At the G-8 meeting, held in L’Aquila, Italy  Medvedev showed the new coin to illustrate what he said was a "united future world currency."

The coin, was minted in Belgium and was presented to all the G-8 leaders. "You can see it and touch it," Medvedev said. It bears the words, the United Future World Currency on the front.

“We are discussing both the use of other national currencies, including the ruble, as a reserve currency, as well as supranational currencies,” Medvdev told reporters.

The Russian leader also spoke of his visions of a new economic hierarchy. This new hierarchy would allow emerging economic giants such as Russia and China to drive the global agenda as the world emerges from the first global recession since the 1930s.

“We really live at a unique time, and we should use it to build a modern, prosperous and strong Russia, a Russia that will be a co-founder of the new world economic order,” Medvedev added.

China has also called for the creation of a new global “supranational currency” such as the International Monetary Fund’s special drawing rights (SDR’s), to add stability to global financial markets.

The United Nations  also published a report earlier this year, that called for the replacement of the U.S. Dollar and the creation of a global reserve bank and a new world currency to protect emerging markets from the “confidence game” of financial speculation.

May the Lord add a blessing to the Watchmen, that 'Warn the people about God'!
Ezekiel 3:17

25 years in jail for touching Quran before washing hands

In march it was reported in Pakistan, that a husband and wife were jailed for 25 years for touching Islam's holy book without washing their hands

According to the reports from CLAAS, Munir Masih and Ruqqiya Bibi were accused of touching a Quran without washing their hands. They were convicted of "contaminating" the Quran when they touched it.
The Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement, which fights for the rights of the poor and marginalized in Pakistan, said the incident dated back to late 2008 when the accusations unleashed the fury of Islamic extremists. Local stories then suggested that police were paid to discover additional evidence that would be used to convict the couple.

Munir Masih was locked up in Kasur's district prison, and his wife went to the women's prison in Multan upon conviction.
Currently their convictions are being appealed to the Lahore High Court, officials said.

Christians in Pakistan say Islamic laws regarding the Quran and blasphemy routinely are used to harass members of other faiths. Tahir Naveed Chaudhary, aChristian member of Punjab's legislative assembly, reported such accusations are used to settle personal grudges against Christians.

If I say that as a Christian, I don't believe Muhammad is a prophet of the Most High God, the state of Pakistan is saying that I should be killed. The  penal code in Pakistanis goes quite literally against the United Nations Charter of Human Rights which says all people should have freedom of religious expression.

The U. S. State Department issued a 2008 report critical of Pakistan's human rights record.

According to a statement from the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, Pakistan also has been debating the adoption of full Islamic law and  is thereby becoming a "human rights cesspool."

The European Center for Law and Justice is urging the U.N. to call on Pakistan to prosecute the perpetrators of attacks that have killed at least 60 Christians in recent years.

May the Lord add a blessing to the life of those who sincerely follow Christ. Who keep His law & testimony...
Isaiah 8:20

It was reported recently that in South Pablo Brazil, meetings of the dome of the Universal Church international  there is a travel award among seven pastors. The one who is able to garner the most tithes out of the pockets of the faithful wins a trip to Israel. Citizens say  the pressure exerted on the shepherds so that they increase the collection of resources is customary.

The five videos, with total duration of six hours, are of a former-shepherd, and was recorded  for the former-volunteer of Universal and the silversmith Eduardo Cândido Da Silva.

He is suing for moral damages as well as for pain and suffering.
In this particular case the funds were collected for the bishop Romualdo Panceiro.

Panceiro guided the shepherds “not to limit” the value of the tenth, but “to stipulate”. Panceiro advised pastors start with calling for persons with  $ 5,000.  Going lower and lower until the shepherd reaches $20, then $10.
Panceiro then announced that the seven shepherds who had “greater growth” would gain trip of three or four days Israel .
Pancerio claimed in his press release that, “the trip for Israel is not considered a awarding and yes a religious mission longed for by evangĂ©licos Christians of the whole world. It enters the 15 a thousand shepherds of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of Gods who act in Brazil this are not different."
He also commented, “the trip you Israel is not considered an award but religious mission goal will be evangelical Christians around the world. Among the 15 000 pastors of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God operating in Brazil is in different.“

"Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD."   (Jeremiah 23:1-8)

May the Lord add a blessing to those who do not misuse His word...

Here at studythebiblenotthesermon no holidayys are taken at face value. Unfortunately for most holidayys theyyy usually have a religious connotation. Aand as for religious holidays they are most usually pagan holidays. Because Paganism is all around us.

It all began in Spokane, Washington in 1909.

Sonora Smart Dodd (who was raised by her Father) heard a Mother’s Day sermon at Central Methodist Episcopal Church. Dodd’s mother died 11 years earlier. She proposed the idea to honor her father, and all fathers everywhere, with a special day as well, to local religious leaders. By 1910, Father’s Day, had become widespread and on June 19 fathers were honored in sermons throughout the city. The popularity of Father’s Day spread, when newspapers across the country carried the story. Richard Nixon established it as the third Sunday in June in 1972.

Dodd’s pivotal role in the creation of a national Father’s Day celebration was recognized in 1943 with a luncheon in her honor in New York City.

But the year Spokane was observing its first Father’s Day, almost 2,000 miles away in Fairmont, W.Va., another Methodist church was on its third...

The video was by a hip-hop artist called Rhymefest. Aside from being a Nice song it speaks to a very real phenomenon that plagues Christendom in general and the black church in particular.

The message of Martin Luther King Jr. for instance is rejected by much of the contemporary church in general and the black church in particular. I guess this should be of no surprise because MLK was rejected by the 'black church establishment' when he was alive.

Forty-two years after his death, MLK's model of ministry (one that confronted political and economic institutions of power)-- has been sidelined by the prosperity gospel.

Most prosperity ministers such as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Eddie Long and Creflo Dollar have become brands, similar to the likes of Michael Jordan or Jay-Z. Generally they preach that God rewards the faithful with wealth and spiritual power. They've built megachurches and business empires with the prosperity message.

You don't generally build huge churches by making folks uncomfortable during service. If you are participating in sin while regularly attending church, you should feel uncomfortable, because your not right.
The Bible tells us this would happen in the latter days: "Preach the WORD; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears... But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."(2Timothy 4:1-5)

The prosperity gospel began as a fringe doctrine in the black church. It was pioneered by "Rev. Ike," a prosperity televangelist with a pompadour. In the 1970s he bragged similar to a rapper that "my garages runneth over."

"....in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; " (1Timothy 4:1-2)

LET IT BE KNOWN: Jesus said: "ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good."(Mark 14:7)
Therefore God's favor is not reflected in monetary prosperity. Think about it, the disciples (the 12 and Paul) were fvored.. How manyy of them were rich?
None they were dirt poor. Even Christ (our example) had NOWHERE TO LAY HIS HEAD!

"For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out... they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition."

"For THE LOVE of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
(1Timothy 6:1-11)

Those Prosperity Preacher's referred to in the Rhymefest video will tell you they don't love money. But they seduce the flock with it. They request to see W2's before joining the church. They have ATM's, and bookshops, and coffee-shops, cassette tape and C.D shops Inside the church.

The Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, where MLKjr preached, says that prosperity preaching is not just a distortion of Jesus' message but a betrayal of the black church's heritage. "The black church was formed by slaves who saw Jesus' message as a tool for social justice."

"Many Americans give lip service to entering the social justice arena and speaking out against the economic and politically powerful," Walton said, "but very few of us are willing to pay the price."
"We like to identify with Dr. King in theory, though we emulate Rev. Ike in practice.

Some things never change.
"Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me." (Mark 7:6)

May the Lord add a blessing to the understanding of His Word in Jesus name...

Ugandan Pastor's gay porn stunt?!?

Martin Ssempa A Ugandan Pastor, has went to extreme measures in trying to persuade people on how evil homosexuality is and garner support for legislation. Last Wednesday Ssempa showed gay porn in his church.

I guess maybe he was trying to show the people, how much anal sex hurts!?!

I can’t understand why else you would show porn to prove something isn't good.

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge
(Romans 10:2)

The Ugandan pastor, is one of the chief supporters of a internationally controversial Anti-Homosexuality Bill.

The stunt has alarmed gay rights supporters. It has also troubled Christians, including those who believe homosexual behavior is sin.

In addition Ssempa displayed pornographic photos of white men from about the 1970s "doing what he considered to be dangerous acts in the bedroom."

Defending his actions, Ssempa told the BBC's Network Africa program, "In Africa, what you do in your bedroom affects our clan, it affects our tribe, it affects our nation. "We are in the process of legislation and we have to educate ourselves about what homosexuals do."

Homosexuality is currently illegal in Uganda, and the Anti-Homosexuality Bill is to strengthen the criminalization of the behavior. Those suspected of "aggravated homosexuality" and who are HIV-positive or engage in sexual acts with those under 18 years of age could face life imprisonment or the death penalty. The measure will also impose punishments on gay organization supporters, as well as those who do not report homosexual's to authorities.

President Obama recently called the bill "odious."

The Anglican Church of Uganda, released a statement earlier this month expressing support for the bill with amendments –

Specifically, the Anglican Church of Uganda calls for the exemption of health care professionals, pastors and counselors who may minister to homosexuals or care for HIV patients from punishment.

Church leaders on the Uganda National Pastors Task Force Against Homosexuality, whom has also backed the bill, favors 20 years imprisonment rather than the death penalty.

Last month Lindsey Potter, a Pacific Lutheran University student, studying in Kampala, Uganda's capital city, blogged about a power point about what 'homosexuals do in their bedrooms.'

The U.S Government has since been charged with funding anti-homosexual groups in Uganda.

May the Lord add a blessing to the consideration of His word.

"And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:"
 (Micah 5:12)

April 16, 2010 'Witch School' moved from Central Illinois to Salem, Massachusetts, and later saw a need for re-telling the story of wtchcraft from a witches point of view.
They  go beyond the witch trials however, the school actively tells stories and 'histories' of magic from early civilization, to the modern Pagan movement.

Amazingly one of the witch leaders holds the title of Rev.
This is disrespect for the name of God, and is the reason why NO MAN OR WOMAN should hold the Title Reverend (REV.) (reverend is His name. Psalms 111:9)
Pledges and promises of materials come from not just the United States, but from Australia, India as well as Africa and Europe.

There is a whole world of Witches beyond the Salem Wich Trils.
A new community-driven museum will teach visitors about the folly.
All instructor's are practicing members of the Witchcraft community.

In 2006, a Witch School opened in the town of  Hoopeston, IL., about 100 miles south of Chicago.

"For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry."
(1Samuel 15:23)

May The Lord add a blessing to the hearing and doing of His Word.

"No servant can serve two masters:
for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and mammon"
(Luke 16:13).

It was reported in the Seattle times  on June 17, 2007 that their is a preacher who is both Muslim and Christian!  :-O

Rev. Ann Holmes Redding has been an Episcopal priest for over 20 years and a Muslim for about 4years. Until 1997 she was director of faith formation at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, in Seattle. Officials at the national Episcopal Church headquarters, has ruled that it's up to the local bishop to decide whether such a priest could continue in that role.:-?   Redding claims to have been drawn to the faith after an introduction to Islamic prayers left her profoundly moved.
Redding now teaches the New Testament as a visiting assistant professor at Seattle University.

She is quoted as saying,
"I am both Muslim and Christian, just like I'm both an American of African descent and a woman. I'm 100 percent both."

Meanwhile Redding's bishop, the  Rev. Vincent Warner, says he accepts Redding as an Episcopal priest and a Muslim, and that he finds the interfaith possibilities exciting. Her announcement, was made through a newspaper article in her diocese. Even the local Muslim leaders are perplexed.

According to Redding it all started in 2005, a local Muslim leader spoke at the cathedral, then prayed before the attendees. Redding was moved because the During his prayer, the Muslim laid prostrate as he prayed. It seemed to her that his whole body was involved in surrendering to God.

Being apart of a watered down version of Christianity, there is no wonder how this happened. No one understands what they are doing, or why they do what they do. Submission to the Father in prayer is what the prophets did. This Muslim man did not do some special thing. The Bible suggests that we do the same thing.

"...the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations" (Genesis 17:1-4).

When Korah tempted the Lord, Moses and Aaron laid prostrate to repent for the people. "And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?" (Numbers 16:20-22).

Even JESUS our "example" did this...
"Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."(Matthew 26:38-39)

In the spring of 2005, at a interfaith class, another Muslim leader taught a chanted prayer. He also led a meditation for the purposes of opening one's heart. Redding, then began saying the prayer daily.

Is this even possible? In the last post I examined Allah and his relationship (if any) to The True and Living God.
Christianity and Islam cannot coincide. 1st of all Islam and its holy book the Qur'an would fall under the category of new/lost books of the Bible. Which means (if you haven't read the post click the link) it is only considered inspired by the Holy Spirit if the words contained therein coincide with what Moses, the prophets and the apostles wrote. The things that Moses wrote have been with us since he wrote it, not with Muhammed in the 9th century.

"I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils." (1Corinthians 10:20-21)

Besides that, God chose Israel. Saved them physically from Egypt. Punished them after they committed wickedness in the promised land by sending them into captivity all over the world,  and Jesus (The Messiah) will return to bring the children of Israel back to the promised land  *and they will dwell safely*!
(Jeremiah 23:6/32:37/33:16 Ezekiel 28:26/34:25,28/38:8,11,14)
New Jerusalem has 12 gates named after the 12 tribes of Israel. He will rule Israel as the God of Israel (Luke 1:31-33).

"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it"
(Isaiah 40:3-5 and Matthew 3:1-3).

May the Lord add a blessing to the reading of THE BIBLE...
