THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM...

Things That Make You Go Hmmmm....QUIRKS, QUIPS, QUESTIONS, QUOTATIONS, & THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM

IF PEOPLE THAT ARE DEAD ARE PRESENTLY IN HEAVEN (a place where ALL tears are wiped away) "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Revelation 21:4)
SMILING DOWN ON THE LIVING, WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY LOOK DOWN AND ARE WITNESS TO RAPE, MURDER, SOCIAL INJUSTICE, ABUSE ETC.?

IN the book of Acts, Paul and the other apostles agreed not to impose the whole law that God gave to Moses. They agreed to only compel the Gentiles to: abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood (Acts 15:20). Does this mean that since the disciples did not include Murder, Theft, and coveting that it is now ok for those whom call themselves Christians to do these things??

In the book of Exodus The Lord told Moses to stone a man to death for working on the Sabbath Day. If Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 ) and JUSTICE is the habitation of the throne of God (Psalms 89:14) then how can it be okay for us as Christians to disregard the Sabbath? (2 men commit the same offense; 1 man dies, the other lives without any repercussions. That's not justice, that's 1955, United States, Jim Crow South)!

May The Lord add a blessing to the meditation on His Word...

  1. Hmmmm...
I too have wondered about what happens when people 'smile down from heaven' and people on earth continue to struggle. I hope you can do a longer post one day about surrounding the subject of people smiling down from heaven ;-)

No one ever considers that initially, the Apostle's didn't mention a whole lot to the Gentiles. They didn't even include what Jesus said about loving God, and Loving your neighbor; Understanding is truly a blessing!

    KEEP THE SABBATH DAY!
